We tailor road transport to the size and requirements of your shipment. If direct delivery is required, Full Truck Load (FTL) is the right solution. For smaller consignments, Less than Truck Load (LTL) allows you to share transport capacity with other shipments, while our European Groupage service provides a cost-effective solution for consolidated freight. We offer a wide range of trailer types tailored to different cargo requirements, including standard, box, double-deck, MEGA and Joloda trailers. For UK-EU movements, customs formalities are managed in-house as part of the transport process.
Eurogate has experience supporting customers across a wide range of sectors, from food and packaging through to packed chemicals, construction equipment and specialist consignments outside standard pallet formats. The Group also has a strong track record supporting sectors such as oil and gas, engineering, steel fabrication and energy.

Eurogate’s services are delivered through experienced teams who manage lanes across their regions, coordinate between markets where required, and support customers from collection to delivery. That includes customs management, local market guidance, and direct communication throughout the movement.
Your enquiry lands with the office that runs your lane. They price it, work out whether a full or part load fits, and book the carrier.
The same office prepares the transport documents and files UK declarations on HMRC’s CDS, so the freight is not waiting on an outside broker.
The trailer is collected to schedule and followed through transit. ADR-permitted vehicles carry dangerous goods on the lanes that call for them.
Delivery and proof come back through the office that booked the load. If a plan changes in transit, that office already has the lane in front of them.
The structure of FTL depends on the route, the consignment and the level of support required. Features may include the following.
Ambient and chilled food and drink move on scheduled road services, including duty-suspended loads for the beverage industry. Where the cold chain has to hold, temperature-controlled trailers carry it under one booking.
“I’ve been working with Eurogate Logistics for about seven years, and I can say it’s been a good seven years. As is often the case in transport, there are better months and then there are really tough times, but the Eurogate Logistics team always rises to the occasion, seeking the best possible solutions to keep the carriers they trust happy. It’s hard to find this approach these days.”

Speed matters in logistics. We’ve built our operation around getting your cargo where it needs to go without delay, backed by terminals positioned across eight nations and staffed by people who know the work.
Long carrier relationships keep space available through driver shortages, peak weeks and driving bans.
The office quoting your freight sits in a country it actually passes through.
ADR carriage, including the refrigerated-ADR combination, handled by our own desks.
A full truck load (FTL) is a dedicated trailer for your cargo, moving direct with no consolidation stops, so it is the faster option and is priced for the whole trailer. A part load (LTL) shares trailer space with other consignments, so you pay for the space you use, with a scheduled rather than direct transit.
For sub-pallet and parcel-level consignments, our European Groupage service consolidates from a single pallet upwards on weekly schedules. See the European Groupage page, or tell us the dimensions and we will route it the most economical way.
Yes. Our UK customs desk files import and export declarations in-house on HMRC's Customs Declaration Service, so the freight is not waiting on a third-party broker. EORI, deferment, and post-Brexit documentation are handled by the same office that books the load.
Yes. We run ADR-permitted trailers with trained drivers for classified dangerous goods, and we hold refrigerated ADR capacity for cargo that is both hazardous and temperature-sensitive, so it travels in a single trailer.
We run regular scheduled road services from our offices in the UK, Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia, into and across Europe. Freight beyond that footprint is coordinated through our established carrier network.
